Mindy and Aspasia Lin are a mother-daughter creative force. These two self-proclaimed artoholics love to spend time together creating art, traveling, meeting other artists, and spreading the joys of artoholism. Their respective bios follow.

Mindy Lin

Mindy Lin was born and raised in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks with a carpenter father and a seamstress mother. Drawn to art and creative pursuits from the time she could hold a pencil, she went on to attend Missouri State University where she received a BFA in painting in 1999 and an MFA in Writing in 2001.

After living in and around Seattle for 19 years, Mindy is now back in the Missouri Ozarks. While her remote work as a UX Designer satisfies her passions for creative problem solving and helping others accomplish their goals with technology, she also loves to step away from technology to reap the soul soothing benefits of painting and creating things with her hands. Mindy enjoys a variety of mediums, art styles, and methods for artistic expression to include painting, sewing, graphic design, fashion, upcycling, and more.

When not designing or creating, Mindy can be found tending her backyard flock of spoiled chickens, cleaning up after two domestic terrorists (aka “cats”) that are hell-bent on destroying all the things, DIY fixing and upgrading household stuff (thanks to YouTube and dad), and getting a glimpse of the beautiful sunsets from her front lawn.

Mindy is excited to help others connect through Artoholic Studio to find joy and inner peace while creating art and expressing their own unique style.

Aspasia Lin

Aspasia Lin grew up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and has traveled extensively both in the US and internationally. Born in Seattle, Washington to artist parents, she has a natural inclination and talent for art. While still a student, Aspasia received three Silver Addy Awards from the Heartland Chapter of the American Advertising Federation. During middle school and high school, Aspasia spent her summers studying art, character design, and animation at DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, Washington.

Aspasia enjoys a variety of mediums including painting, sculpting, wire-wrap jewelry making, graphic design, animation, taxidermy, and more! She manages social media for Artoholic Studio and helps facilitate paint parties, art events, and more alongside Mindy!
